i just discovered a new social software site called Wordie:
Wordie [wûrd • ē]
Like Flickr, but without the photos.
Wordie lets you make lists of words — practical lists, words you love, words you hate, whatever — and see who else has listed the same words.
i know, you are thinking “what a word nerd” — well, i also love scrabble, my Thinkmap visual thesaurus subscription, and making lists… so a word nerd i will be!
Wordie lets you make lists of words, so my first list words-stacey-hates was inspired by my next-office-neighbour who came into my office one day and randomly blurted out how he hates the word ubiquitous.
Wordie lets you add comments and citations, and subscribe to word list feeds, so feel free to subscribe!

Is there a web service, REST API, or widget for this?
I mean, can I use this to manage my words, and have them automatically display on my website or blog?
If they don’t do it, I will create something that does!

i haven’t seen any mention of widgets or web services for Wordie, but wouldn’t it be fabulous to have dynamic wordrolls on blogs!
each word list does have a feed — could that be used to automagically display word lists on a website?
